ABOUT THE OIL PAN PILLOW
For those of you tow operators who are not familiar with the Oil Pan Pillow, meet your new best friend. The Oil Pan Pillow has been on the market for the last 13 years with over 2000 units sold to date. My name is Allan Mayhew, and I am the inventor, manufacturer and every other aspect of the Pan Pillow and Pillow Protection Corp. except for one department. And that would be the complaint Dept. Do to the lack of complaints, it was no longer economically viable to keep operating, so going forward, you can send any complaints to the compliment dept. for processing. Thank you for understanding, lol. I am building the site myself and will continue to work on the link below, but for now my focus is to get all the info plugged in. All I will say is that the last 13 years have s been one hell of a ride... that is just getting fired up.
Oil Pan Pillow Specifications:
The winds of change have been blowing strong at OIL Pan Pillow central. Wait till you see the new line up. In the past only the 10 inch diameter tube was available. NOW you have the choice of an 8 or 10 inch diameter tube with 4 different options, at 12 different price points based on coating and sizes. With the change in both the tube material and now offering an 8 inch and a 10 inch diameter tube, it only gets better. The new tube has a urethane coating on BOTH the inside and outside which is an anti wear, and resistant to oils and acids. For added protection you have the option of adding the additional 1/8 inch urethane sheet bonded on the wear side.
Please play close attention as there are many changes to size part #, coating options. and additional sizes.
IT IS A MUST TO HAVE CORRECT MEASUREMENTS BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER TO INSURE YOU ARE GETTING THE CORRECT SIZE FROM THE START.
ANY COSTS RESULTING IN RETURNS FOR INCORRECT SIZE, WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER FOR ALL SHIPPING AND PROCESSING CHARGES TO GET THE RIGHT SIZE TO YOU.
FROM THIS DAY FORWARD, BOTH THE 8"AND 10" TUBE WILL COME FROM THE MANUFACTURER WITH AN APPROXIMATELY 1/32" URETHANE COATING.
ALL FUTURE REFERENCE REGARDING THE WORD "COATING' WILL WILL REFER TO THE ADDED 1/8 " PROTECTIVE URETHANE SHEET TO THE WEAR SIDE OF THE
OIL PAN PILLOW.
ADDITIONAL SIZING EXPLANATION:
ALONG WITH THE 10" TUBE USED OVER THE PAST 13 YEARS, TESTING WAS ALSO TAKING PLACE FOR THE LAST YEAR USING AN 8" TUBE. FEED BACK HAS BEEN EXTREMELY POSITIVE. TOW OPERATORS ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE EASE OF USE AND STILL GETS THE JOB DONE. IN MY YEARS OF TOWING AND USING THE OIL PAN PILLOW, I FELT THE 10 " TUBE THE HAPPY MEDIUM. DID IT'S JOB , BUT THE JACKING FEATURE WAS AN ADDED BONUS THAT TURNS OUT MANY HAVE NEVER EVEN THOUGH OF. BOTTOM LINE IS, BOTH DO THE JOB WITH THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BEING, YOU WILL NOT HAVE THE SAME LIFT HEIGHT WITH AN 8 INCH AS WITH A TEN INCH. DON'T BE SURPRISED IF 8 INCH BECOMES MORE POPULAR.
